The Linkway Medical Practice is situated in the Lyng Health Centre in the centre of West Bromwich. The Central Bus and Metro Tram Stations are a short walk away. There is a 'Pay and Display' Car Park (free parking for the first 1.5 hours) and full access for the disabled.

Web Booking

We have an internet service for our patients which gives them access to booking appointments, ordering repeat prescriptions and detailed or summary of your medical records. Please see our Online Services Leaflet or ask at reception for more details. The service is available 24 hours a day and is used via a security password

Notice Board

*Sandwell and West Birmingham CCG are responsible for providing services when the surgery is closed. If you need urgent care when the surgery is closed please dial 111 or visit the walk-in-centre at Parsonage street, West Bromwich. *We offer pre-booked appointments from 6.30pm to 9.00pm on Mondays and 8.00am to 1.00pm on Saturdays. Please ask Reception. *Confidential Information from your Medical records can now be used by NHS to improve the services offer so we can provide the best possible care for everyone. Patients are automatically opted in unless they specifically ask to be opted out. More information on *Please let us know if you cant make your appointment so we can reuse them. Last year we lost 3700 appointments when patients failed to turn up. We can remove patients if you persistently fail to attend. *So we can reduce the queue at our reception, please use the self check in screen in our main waiting area when arriving for your appointment. *Sign up for secure On-Line Access to appointments, repeat prescription requests, Summary/Detailed view of your medical records. Ask reception for details. Works on Computer or Mobile Device. * Join our Patient Group, we meet every three months. See notice board or ask reception for details. * Please avoid busy times such as Monday,Tuesday 8am to 11pm or 2pm to 3.30pm for non -urgent telephone calls.
